RERA stipulates that property developers establish individual ESCROW accounts for each real estate project in development. This separation facilitates an organized approach to project management and increases transparency into financial transactions.

In addition to the establishment of ESCROW accounts in Dubai, RERA requires that each account be audited annually. These audits cover project financial statements and cash flows, and provide assurance to clients and investors that each project is being accurately and satisfactorily managed.
